الحمد لله I was able to finish this course within 2 weeks. The structure of this course is expertly laid out and is very comprehensive. I have noticed the addition of quizzes at the end of each lesson, which is great. They are the links to that specific lesson on Memrise course. Following the advice of brother Islam, I used Memrise, which uses spaced repetition, to learn the Arabic words and it has helped me a lot. I found a website that also uses spaced repetition and it is called MemoStack. I just copied and pasted the Arabic and English translations (from the Memrise course, which brother Islam and his team created) onto separate digital flashcards to MemoStack. I recommend some taking this approach too. I have now found that when I recite the Quran, I can translate around 10 words on average per page. Although this is not the same as fully understanding the Quran, it gives me hope that one day I will be able to understand the Quran. Inshallah, I will be able to accomplish this by completing the other Understand the Quran courses created by Arabic101. جزاكم الله خيرا

I have been working through this course at my own speed. Masha'Allah, brother Islam Fekry has put together a really solid course which is easy to follow. I have personally been taking notes on a notebook and creating physical flashcards to use for revision. I also recommend using Anki (and creating digital flashcards to aid revision). I also use Memrise (as brother Islam recommends), and it is very useful- if you don't plan on making any flashcards or notes, then make that (Memrise) the minimum you do so that the words stick in your head. I have one section left on this course before I move onto the next course insha'Allah. I really look forward to working through the upcoming vocab/grammar lessons. I hope everyone who reads this review makes sincere dua'a for brother Islam (who put together an abundance of free resources for English speaking audiences). May Allah bless him in this world and the next- I pray he is granted with al-Firdaws al-A'la. Amin and Jazakallahu Khairan.
